Lara Diloy Debuts with the M\u00e1laga Philharmonic Orchestra with an All-Tchaikovsky Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Conductor Lara Diloy has made her debut leading the M\u00e1laga Philharmonic Orchestra (OFM) at the 37th Special Summer Concert. Titled “Tchaikovsky’s Universe,” the concert took place last Friday, July 25th, in the exceptional setting of the gardens of the Official College of Technical Architecture of M\u00e1laga. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For her first collaboration with the M\u00e1laga-based orchestra, Diloy prepared a program entirely dedicated to the work of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The evening began with the solemn “Marche Slave, Op. 31,” followed by the virtuoso “Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35,” which featured Armenian violinist Anush Topchjan as the soloist. The second half was dedicated to a curated selection of the most celebrated numbers from the “Swan Lake” ballet suite, one of the Russian composer’s most iconic scores. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In interviews with local media, the Madrid-born conductor expressed her enthusiasm for this collaboration. “To debut with an orchestra is always a pleasure, and in this case with the M\u00e1laga Philharmonic, it’s wonderful, especially with such a magnificent setting and repertoire,” she commented for the Canal Sur program “La Ma\u00f1ana del Verano.” Described by the press as “the conductor for a new age,” Lara Diloy continues to solidify her career as one of the most outstanding conductors of her generation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
