The Opus Lyric company presents a new production of the mythological drama of “Orfeo and Eurydice” which he composed in operatic version Ch.W. von Gluck in the second half of the 18th century, and which will be directed by the young promise of the conductor Lara Diloy.
The Victoria Eugenia Theater in San Sebastian has been the setting chosen by Opus Lrica to present its new production of “Orfeo e Eurídice” by Gluck. The setting and direction of the scene is the responsibility of Marta Eguillior and the head of the musical direction will be the young conductor Lara Diloy. The cast is made up of the soprano Ainhoa Garmendia, who will play Eurydice, the tenor Matteo Mezzaro who will give life to Orfeo and the soprano Alicia Amo who will be Love.
The premiere of this new proposal will be next June 1 at 8pm. at the Victoria Eugenia Theater in San Sebastián and also on the 3 rd at 7:00 p.m. with tickets from € 15.
This will be the first time that Lara Diloy will be in charge of an operatic production in her homeland, having debuted at the Teatro de la Zarzuela or the National Music Auditorium in Madrid, and having directed the Varna Philarmonic Orchestra, the Young National Orchestra of Spain or the Barbieri Symphony Orchestra.
Among his upcoming commitments include the musical direction of “La Traviata” at the Embassy of Italy in Spain, within the cycle “Welcome to the Palace” organized by the Community of Madrid, and his debut at the head of the Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa.
